How to make a Lemongrass Sage Gimlet

  1. Put sage leaves in shaker with lime juice and muddle.

  2. Add lemongrass shrub and lemongrass syrup.

  3. Shake and strain.

How to make Lemongrass shrub

  1. Take 4-5 stalks of lemongrass and cut through the stalks. Don’t worry if you don’t cut all of the way through, the cutting is mostly for bruising the lemongrass stalks and releasing the flavor.

  2. In a mason jar, add one part of lemongrass, one part water, and one part sugar.

  3. Place in refrigerator for 4 days. Since lemongrass can be a subtle flavor, I recommend leaving it sit for 1-2 weeks.

  4. Enjoy!
